Cliff’s Guide to Loftia Content Safety
Hey there, Loftians!
Community and creativity are at the heart of Loftia, and we absolutely adore and support all creators in the Loftia community. Just as you need a personal safety device to navigate Loftia, so too do we need some guidelines in place to keep our intellectual property (“IP”) safe.
We want to create a welcoming environment for creators while protecting Loftia and its community.
We reserve the right to remove, or request the removal of creations that violate this Fan Content Policy, our Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or misuse Loftia’s IP.
We ask that any creations follow our community guidelines. Loftia is a welcoming and respectful place, and we want creations inspired by it to reflect that spirit.
We believe human creativity is something special, and we want to empower people to bring their own imagination and artistic expression to Loftia.
We ask that all creations using the Loftia IP be human creations, without using generative AI. Do not use any part of Loftia to train generative AI models.
Have you ever seen a crocheted Pebble plushie? We have and we loved it! If you’re making your own original creations, we welcome you to share them with the community.
You are welcome to sell your own handmade creations on a small scale, provided that they follow these guidelines:
If you’re planning something larger, please reach out to us first!
The same goes for digital creations and art commissions - small-scale and clearly unofficial is fine.
We want to encourage creativity while protecting the world of Loftia and the artists who help bring it to life.
We love seeing creators share Loftia through videos, livestreams, guides, fan sites, wikis, and social media!
If you’re building a fan site or wiki, please make it clear on the site that it’s unofficial, and avoid names or web addresses that could be mistaken for one of ours. Please don’t recreate the gameplay experiences found within the game itself (like character customisation, house decorating, or exploring the world). Running ads to cover your hosting costs is fine.
You’re welcome to create and share content about Loftia, including earning revenue through creator programs on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. You’re also welcome to accept tips, donations, Patreon support and channel subscriptions from your community. We just ask that you don’t lock information about Loftia, or anything inside the game (items, coins, boosts or help in exchange for payment), behind them.
Loftia’s music is welcome in your videos and streams, as long as the content is about Loftia. Please don’t upload the soundtrack on its own, or use it in projects unrelated to Loftia.
We ask that you keep your content unofficial, unless you’ve signed an official contract with us!
We ask you to avoid using our logos and trademarks in a way that makes others think your product is official, and when in doubt please include a disclaimer such as: This is unofficial fan content and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Loftia or Qloud Games.
Please also only share information about Loftia that’s been officially announced or discovered through normal gameplay (not by digging through game files or test builds), and refrain from sharing unreleased content.
Loftia is a shared world, and we believe deeply in our players’ right to privacy.
You’re welcome to share screenshots, videos, and other content from your experiences in Loftia, even when other players appear in them. However, please respect their privacy.
Loftia’s social features are designed to help players connect, and may not be used to collect, track, combine, or publish personal information about other players without their permission.
One of our favorite things about Loftia is seeing the ideas, feedback, and creativity our community shares with us. We love hearing your suggestions and celebrating your creations!
When you share ideas, feedback, or original creations through our official community channels, you’re giving us permission to use, share, and adapt them in connection with Loftia, including in the game and promotional materials.
This lets us celebrate your creations and act on your suggestions without having to chase down permission each time, and it means we’re not in trouble if something we’re already building happens to look like an idea from the community. We can freely use the ideas and feedback you share with us, while you still retain ownership of your original creative works. We may use these contributions without additional approval or compensation. The full details of how this works are in our Terms of Service.
If you’d like to ask about anything in this policy, you can reach us at [email protected]
We may update this policy from time to time as Loftia grows.
