About Us:

We’re Qloud Games, an Australian-based indie game studio with members from around the world, and we’re developing Loftia. Loftia is inspired by the creative and cozy elements of beloved titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, placing them in an online, multiplayer world. We want to provide a space for players to find their sense of belonging, and work together with the community to work toward a brighter and more hopeful future.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Marketing & Design Coordinator specialising in social media and graphic design to help grow Loftia’s brand and online presence. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Director on creative campaigns, social content and community engagement. This role would suit a designer who has strength in conceptual and creative development, and has a love for cozy games!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop social media content strategy alongside Marketing Director and ensure it aligns with overall business goals.
  • Creates eye-catching visuals, including images, infographics and videos.
  • Design graphics that align with Loftia’s visual identity and gameplay features.
  • Engage with social media community by responding to comments and messages.
  • Monitor social media trends and research industry developments to identify marketing opportunities
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as responding to support tickets, content scheduling, data organisation and tracking metrics

We’re looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in social media content creation, especially graphic design, video editing and copy-writing
  • Experience in building an engaged online community on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube and Discord
  • A love for games, especially cozy games, and an understanding of gaming culture, pop culture and social media culture
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail
  • A proactive and open-minded attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and is always looking for the next challenge

Bonus: Skills in digital drawing and digital art

  • Form of employment: Full-time permanent
  • Employment location: Preference for Sydney (Australia) – exceptional remote candidates will also be considered
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: Competitive market rates – based on experience and location
