Tucked away on the edges of Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens is a peaceful floating island that celebrates mother nature. This Loftia district is filled with lush greenery, cozy fishing spots, community farms, and a mysterious dark forest waiting to be explored!
Gridfall is Loftia’s salvaging district, a concrete jungle built from scraps and love on the remains of the old world.
Ride air rails, scale towering skyscrapers, uncover stories of the past at the museum, dance along with the locals, and explore secret underground tunnels with friends!
Adopt the cutest and cuddliest pets who will join you on your journey throughout Loftia! You can take care of them, pet them, dress them up, and grow your friendship with them.
In Early Access, you can take your proficiencies much further than the demo’s Level 5 cap. Become better at various activities in Loftia - whether it’s Farming, Crafting, Cooking, Fishing, or something else. Level up your proficiencies, and choose which Perks to invest your points in to become the best at what you do!
Grow crops with more advanced and sustainable methods of farming, starting with Hydroponics Stations! Keep your Hydroponics Stations topped up with nutrients for a chance to grow some Loftian “Super Crops”.
The demo showed just some of the adventure challenges that Loftia has in store. During Early Access, there’ll be plenty of new challenges (which we call “adventure gauntlets”) to explore and tackle, together with friends.
We built up and celebrated Pebble’s Birthday Party together in the demo. In Early Access, there will be many more World Projects that the community can tackle together, including larger-scale projects like rebuilding the Loftia City Dome, constructing more renewable energy sources, and more.
Urbex, short for “Urban Exploration”, is the exploration of various underground areas. During Early Access, you’ll be able to hop down and, with the help of a special tool, collect rare resources and discover hidden nooks and crannies within the Gridfall district.

Loftia can be played via Steam and the Epic Games Store, on both Mac and PC. Nintendo Switch will come in 2027. Beyond the initial release, we will aim to officially support additional platforms. Loftia is fully playable with controller / gamepad, in addition to keyboard and mouse, and also supports the Steam Deck.
Loftia can be enjoyed both solo, and together with others - it's completely up to you! Playing alone will not block your progress in the game, and you'll still be able to enjoy almost all of the content as everybody else.
Loftia is an MMO game, where you will need to be online to play, no matter what platform you are playing on.
Note that once Loftia comes to the Switch in 2027: to play online games on the Switch, Nintendo requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership ($20 per year in the US).
Loftia will be buy-to-play on Steam and Epic Games Store, with a base price of US$29.99. We will have a launch discount of 17% bringing the price down to US$24.89, along with regional pricing too.
Being a premium game means that our small indie team can focus on designing and building Loftia to be the best game it can be, and do so without implementing predatory or gacha monetization tactics. It also has the added benefit of making bans harder to get around, which keeps our community safer and friendlier!
The Backer Boutique is a cosmetic shop where you can buy optional cosmetics, such as outfits, furniture, pet accessories and styles, and visual effects. The shop will have cosmetic items only, that won’t affect gameplay. Loftia will not have gacha mechanics in our monetization.
The Community Pass is a pass that players can purchase to unlock additional cosmetic rewards from World Projects. These World Projects will have various rewards, some which can be unlocked by all players, and others that will require the Community Pass. Once a World Project has been completed, future players can still go back and unlock all the pass rewards too, as they do not expire.
Loftia is a live-service MMO, and our team is going to be constantly adding more content and features, and making the game even better, for years to come.
The Backer Boutique and Community Pass help sustain development on Loftia over the long term. Proceeds go towards the server costs of running an MMO for hundreds of thousands of players, ongoing moderation to keep the community safe, and of course enabling our team members to make a living doing what they love: building an incredible game and continuing to expand Loftia’s world!
