We’re Qloud Games, an Australian-based indie studio with remote team members hailing from around the world. We’re developing Loftia, and our growing studio is scaling up and now looking for an Art Director with a strong 3D art background to lead our art team.
Loftia is a cozy take on the MMO genre, where players farm, build, and contribute to the growth of a sustainable, solarpunk world. The game mixes the chill, relaxing atmosphere of existing titles such as Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, with the social aspects of a massively multiplayer game. Our vision is to provide a space where players can discover a sense of belonging, work together with others in the community to build and grow a sustainable world, and inspire hope for the future.
If you’re excited by the prospect of building shared worlds loved by massive audiences, and creating a charming and aesthetic cozy world that warms the hearts of its players, then we would absolutely love to hear from you!
Your Responsibilities
As Art Director, you will:
work together with the game director, project leads and artists in order to bring the cozy world of Loftia to life

define and oversee the art production pipeline, encompassing all stages from initial concept development through to 3D modelling and texturing, rigging and animation, set dressing, visual effects, and optimization
play a hands-on role in the creation of art assets, in collaboration with the artists on the team
be responsible for final delivery in accordance with the project’s artistic direction, technical restrictions, and deadlines
About You
