We're hiring a Marketing Associate!

We’re Qloud Games, an Australian-based indie game studio with members from around the world, and we’re developing Loftia. Loftia is inspired by the creative and cozy elements of beloved titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, placing them in an online, multiplayer world. We want to provide a space for players to find their sense of belonging, and work together with the community to work toward a brighter and more hopeful future.

The Role:

As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll help us grow Loftia’s global audience and support our efforts in fostering a wholesome and engaged online community. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Director and Community Manager across various areas, including social media management, content creation, community engagement, marketing administration and creative direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in social media content creation, including content ideation, graphic design, video editing, copy-writing and blog posting
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities, such as email marketing, partnerships and community events
  • Help foster an engaged online community by interacting with audiences and building a strong connection with players
  • Monitor social media trends and research cross-industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and engagement
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as responding to support tickets, content scheduling, data organisation and tracking metrics

We’re looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in social media content creation, especially graphic design, video editing and copy-writing
  • Experience in building an engaged online community on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube and Discord
  • A love for games, especially cozy games, and an understanding of gaming culture, pop culture and social media culture
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail
  • A proactive and open-minded attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and is always looking for the next challenge

Employment Details:

  • Form of employment: Full-time permanent
  • Employment location: Fully remote – preference for within Australia, but all candidates will be considered
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: Competitive market rates – based on experience and location
